Pastor Laverne Davenport Receives His New Calling
Saying goodbye to our Interim Pastor Laverne Davenport
was not easy today, but he is off to his new permanent call
in Michigan. We will miss him terribly but wish he and his
family well on their new adventure.
PRAYER CHAIN REPORT 2010
The Willow Creek Presbyterian Church Prayer Chain was
originated in December 1987 when it was realized that our
congregation was missing the experience of the power of prayer.
We are confident God hears and answers prayers, that each
recipient experiences God’s love, nearness, healing, comfort,
peace, encouragement, and protection.
Prayer requests are not limited to our church family –
they are for everyone. We invite you to become an important link
in the Prayer Chain.
E-Mail makes being a part of the Prayer Chain very easy.
Thirty-six of our members are on the e-mail prayer chain. This
originates with Delores Hall or the Church Office in Delores’
absence. This makes it very easy to deliver the message.
It is done with one e-mail and the recipient opens it at his or her
convenience.
