From the Pastor:

There are several new developments in the life of the church that are emerging this fall and I want to briefly alert you to them.

First, the Christian Education Committee is expanding its teaching program to include Wednesday nights beginning Wednesday, September 12. This expansion includes moving the youth group program to Wednesdays from Sunday mornings, providing an hour of rotational instruction for pre-K to 5 year olds in addition to the hour on Sunday mornings, and moving Pastor John’s class from Sunday mornings to Wednesdays. All these CE activities will begin at 6:30 pm and end at 7:30 pm.

Additionally, the Chancel Choir will also meet and practice upstairs in the Sanctuary from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesdays in addition to usual Sunday morning warm-ups and practice.

What brought this up is need for the youth group to meet at a different time and to provide an opportunity for those who work on Sunday (especially at the church) to engage in adult study time as well. It was not a far stretch to include the rest of the children as well, so CE did so.

All these adjustments will start on Wednesday, September 12 at 6:30 pm.
